CAN YOU HELP? Violent assault leaves victim needing facial reconstruction surgery

Officers from the City of London Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men they would like to speak to in connection with a violent assault on London Bridge.

The incident, which left the victim needing surgery to reconstruct his eye socket and jaw, happened on Wednesday 15 May 2019 at around 11.20pm. The victim was attacked on the bridge by two unknown suspects who continued their journey southbound.

Detective Constable James Andrews, from the City of London Police, said:

“Today we have released images of two men we believe have important information that could help progress our investigation into this violent and senseless attack.

“We would encourage anyone who recognises them to get in touch with police as soon as possible.”

Information can be provided to the City of London Police by calling 101 and quoting the reference 19*248622. Alternatively, people can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously via their website or by calling 0800 555 111.
