Police appeal for witnesses after serious assault at London Bridge bar

Officers from the City of London Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to a serious assault outside a London Bridge coffee bar at the end of June.

A man received serious head injuries and was hospitalised when he was assaulted close to Borough High Street on 30 June 2019 at around 01:00.

Officers believe there may have been an interaction between the victim and the suspect on the bridge itself, prior to the assault.

PC Jack Boswell, from the City of London Police, said:

“We are asking anyone who can identify the men in the image, and people who have information about this incident, to contact police.

“There were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident, especially at the northbound London Bridge bus stop and outside the coffee bar, so we’re keen for those people in particular to come forward.”

Anyone with information should contact the City of London Police on 0207 601 2999 quoting the crime reference 19000337831.

Alternatively information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers via their website or by calling 0800 555 111.
